Nestled between two mountains, the camps sit in the valley as a quiet but powerful reminder that life continued even in the heart of devastation. The two mountains, when looked at closely, reveal a pair of watchful eyes, a feeling of protection over those who suffered. The warm colors that blaze across the canvas represent fire and smoke, a country burning, homes lost.

Yet the light breaking through from behind the mountains holds its ground, because even in those conditions, the sun did not stop rising.
